Hey guyz,
Today I'm bringing
another War attack strategy for TH8 (Town Hall 8) which includes Dragons and
Balloons.
Stuff you'll need:
8 lvl 3+ Dragons
8 lvl 4+ Balloons
A Clan Castle with
(if possible) 5 lvl 5+ Balloons
3 Rage Spells (If
spells are above lvl 4 then 1 Heal and 2 Rage)
Execution:
To start of with,
you need to notice the placement of the Air Defenses as they are the biggest,
if not the only, threat to Dragons.
Your Balloons will be used to take out those Air Defenses, preferably before they begin firing on your Dragons. Most TH8 bases have their Air Defenses close to the center, hunched up together, which can actually be helpful for your balloons.
If the Air Defenses are in the center, then there will be some defenses on the outside in a few rows which will have to be cleared up a bit. For this purpose, it is best to use two Dragons at hand.
Once the defenses from the outermost (first) row are cleared, drop the rest of your Dragons and then your Balloons behind them in the direction of the Air Defenses. By now, the Clan Castle troops will march out, and your Balloons will definitely be somewhere near the center. Drop a Rage spell in the center for the Balloons and another one for the Dragons when they intercept the Clan Castle Troops.
If you have taken a Heal Spell as well, use it for your Balloons immediately, and if you have taken 3 Rage Spells, then save it either for your Dragons or Balloons for later.
This will
definitely get you a 3 Star on most maxed out Town Hall 8 War Layouts....
If the Air Defenses are somewhere close to the first layer of defenses, then use a Dragon with 3-4 Balloons in close proximity in the direction of the Air Defenses.
Basically, two Dragons will be used for a meat shield for your Balloons, while your Balloons will take out the Air Defenses in order to protect the Dragons, who will clear up the rest of the base in the end.
